“PCL believes in staff wellness in every capacity and the one missing piece of our wellness program has been financial wellness. Fred filled this gap for our employees with an excellent presentation on personal financial literacy. Our employees LOVED this presentation, it was current, easy to follow and stimulated all of us to action on our own financial plans and journey. This workshop should be mandatory for everyone! Thanks Fred, for enlightening us all!”
Katherine Loveys, Executive Director, Parents for Community Living KW Inc
"I can think of no better investment than the 90 minutes of my time attending Fred Masters' 'Money 101 - What you need to teach your kids about money'. Fred’s no nonsense and humorous presentation provides practical tips on how to save for your children’s education, guiding them on selecting the post secondary education that makes both academic and financial sense, ensuring they save their own money and guiding them in avoiding financial pitfalls that will set your children on the path to financial freedom and perhaps become millionaires some day."
Bill Conway, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Waterloo Catholic District School Board
"Without a doubt, we'll be booking you back for the future, Fred. Your Money Management session for new teachers provided practical advice that teachers could implement right away. Beyond the invaluable content, your experience as an educator shone through - it was delivered in what felt like a manageable, understandable, and engaging style. Based on the questions from participants, you clearly had their attention and curiosity! We'll see you next time!"
Matt Figueiredo, NTIP Consultant, WCDSB (Virtual Presentation Facilitator)

"Thank you for the presentation you did for our employees to help them develop healthy financial habits for both short and long-term. As you mentioned in your presentation, for many Canadians, money worries are the greatest source of stress, more than work, personal health and relationships. Your presentation was engaging & informative and our staff left the presentation feeling informed, inspired and empowered with knowledge to improve their financial well-being. Financial wellness, physical wellness and mental wellness go hand-in-hand in the workplace. Thank you for helping us support our staff to know that we care about them and their financial wellness."

"Fred’s presentation at Victus Academy was truly amazing. Our grade 9-12 students were attentive and motivated to learn from the presentation. The information Fred shared regarding personal finances, planning for the future, personal assets etc. was an important message that all students should hear. Students were particularly interested in how to set up a Tax-Free Savings Account, use of credit cards and buying their first car! Thank you again to Fred for the professional and informative presentation. All high schools should take advantage of your willingness to provide this presentation to their students."
Chuck Williams, Principal, Victus Academy
"The Money 101 presentation hit all the financial concerns that are upon or in the very near future for teens. The content left them wanting more, thinking critically about their financial choices, and started discussions on financial literacy!"
Ashley Kreuger, SAC Advisor, St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School
"The presentation was great. The room was so silent throughout the presentation because Fred was able to captivate students' attention so well. I know that both adults and students were able to take back so much information in regards to credit cards, financing, mortgages and learning how to buy a car. Thank you Fred for showing both students and adults the importance of money."
Katlyn Melcher, Student Organizer, St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School
"Fred’s presentation style is so engaging and high energy. His passion and knowledge of finance shine through as he provides practical examples about credit card debt, buying a new car (or not!), and buying experiences, not stuff. Fred is committed to educating students about Financial Literacy to better equip them with the tools and skills they need to make sound financial decisions. Our grade 7 & 8 students loved Fred’s Money 101 presentation so much they told us we needed to have their parents hear it, too! Our Catholic School Council had a sneak preview of Money 201 and couldn’t wait to hear more. Our parent engagement evening was the best attended presentation we have had at St. Joseph in 5 years! Thanks Fred, for sharing your passion, and expertise, with our entire St. Joseph community."
Tonya Reesor, Principal, St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School, WCDSB
"I would first like to say thank you for holding the “Money 101” session at St. Francis Parish on Tuesday night. Grade 7 Teacher, St. Dominic Savio Catholic Elementary School, WCDSB
"Fred was an engaging and passionate speaker to our Grade 7/8 students. He provided them with countless real-world examples of the importance of money management and offered great tips to take home to their families. Students had lots of great questions about their financial future, and are looking forward to Fred's return to our classroom. I personally learned a few things and wished that I had the opportunity to participate in a lesson like this when I was their (student's) age. Thank you Fred and Masters Money Management!"
Grade 8 Teacher, St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School, WCDSB

"Fred’s knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm kept 60 of our Grade 8 students locked-in for 45 straight minutes. Each topic was packed with information that surprised many students and alarmed many staff members who were present too! He provided great “big picture” thinking for students at this age - would have made David Chilton, the author of 'The Wealthy Barber' & one of our alumni, very proud!!!"

"As a former student of Mr. Masters', words cannot express my gratitude for the opportunity my students were given to experience this outstanding presentation. Students were engaged by the important content and captivated by the energetic, passionate delivery. You could hear a pin drop in the classroom as Mr. Masters encouraged them to think critically about financial literacy and decision making. Students left the presentation saying it was "the best class" of their high school career so far, and that they felt empowered and motivated to take control of their personal financial situations. Thank you for the exceptional presentation and for making such a profound impact on the students of Waterloo-Oxford!"
Stephanie Steffler, Business Studies Teacher, Waterloo-Oxford D.S.S., WRDSB
"Fred took the time to go over my wife's and my financial portfolio. Fred's many years of investing experience and expertise in teaching was immediately apparent. If I had taken a course taught by Fred my investing IQ would be much higher today. Thanks Fred for helping to get me on the right track, sharing your knowledge and arming me with questions everyone should be asking their financial advisor."
Joe Dietrich, Portfolio Review Feedback
"Thank you for offering your expertise yesterday with your presentation. It was very informative and gave me much to consider as I make financial choices in the future. In particular, I appreciated your insights on investing as that has always been a topic that caused much confusion for me on what is the best thing to do. I liked the overall outlook of the presentation and enjoyed the use of real-time or almost real-time data to illustrate the points. It makes it easier to see how your advice applies having it juxtaposed to what is going on. I know information is power so thank-you for giving some to all of us yesterday!
